Governing Documents
SRPOA is governed by ByLaws and Restrictions filed in Hays County and Travis County, Texas.
 
Communications
Official communication from the SRPOA Board is sent via email and regular mail (when required by Texas Property Code). SRPOA does not maintain an official social media presence. Groups on Nextdoor (which connects Saddletree Ranch and other neighborhoods in this area) and Facebook are managed by neighbors outside the purview of the Board. Any information provided on social media is not official communication from SRPOA and is the sole responsibility of the individual posting.
 
Amenities
Saddletree Ranch has a number of amenities available for private use by any SRPOA member in good standing, and their family members. Additional information as well as instructions for any necessary reservations is available in the Amenities section. Our amenities include:

Several special interest clubs meet throughout the year, typically at the Clubhouse, and are open to all SRPOA residents. Clubs include:
Events
Throughout the year, there are many social events open to the entire neighborhood, including:
  • Potluck Soup Nights at the Clubhouse
  • Sip 'N Share Happy Hours at the Clubhouse
  • Mid-Winter / Valentine's Ladies' Tea at the Clubhouse
  • Easter Egg Hunt in the Park
  • 4th of July BBQ & Party in the Park @Noon
  • National Night Out at the Park (usually a Tuesday in October)
  • Halloween Hayride (Saturday before Halloween) for trick or treating through the neighborhood in a safe, fun way
  • Christmas with Santa at the Clubhouse
  • Christmas Lights Contest for the entire neighborhood

Committees
SRPOA maintains a number of committees, including the Architectural Control Committee (ACC), Clubhouse Committee, Park & Landscape Committee, and Events Committee. We are always looking for volunteers and participation is a great way to get to know your new neighbors! Please contact the Board for more information.
 
Violations
The SRPOA Restrictions outline your responsibilities as a member, and the Board will provide gentle reminders to anyone who is in violation before taking formal action. The Restriction enforcement process and fine schedule are posted on the website. All violation notifications will include the date, time, address, photographs, cite the specific Restriction section and paragraph, and provide a timeframe for compliance before fines are assessed. Please be aware that the following violations will result in an instant fine, potential loss of access to SRPOA amenities, and referral to law enforcement where applicable:

●  Motor vehicles in Saddletree Ranch Park - $500
●  Damage to SRPOA property - $1000
 
 
 
Annual Dues
Each year the Board will make a determination of the Annual Dues to be assessed. These are calculated on a whole acre basis (e.g. a 2.5 acre property at $216/acre would be $432), and the Dues Assessment Invoices are sent out to homeowners prior to the Annual Members Meeting every July and are due by July 31st. Property owners can pay any outstanding dues balance online or mail their check to:

Payment Plans
A payment plan is available to Members as required by the Texas Property Code as outlined in the Saddletree Ranch Payment Plan policy.

Utilities

 
Saddletree Ranch is currently NOT serviced by a municipal water or sewer system. Each property has its own well and septic system. The fire hydrants were installed by the original developer and are non-operative. SRPOA is working with WTCPUA to obtain water service in the future (wells would be retained for irrigation only).

It is important to note that the Board does not perform any function established by law that is within the authority of the State and County governments. So, for example, enforcement of traffic laws (e.g. speeders), leash laws, and similar laws enforced by county or state law enforcement officers cannot be performed by the Association or its Board.
